Peter Romandetti, 68, of East Northport, NY passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026.
Peter was born in Huntington, NY and had a happy, loving childhood with his brothers and sister. He had a love and a natural talent for woodworking. Peter cherished the memories of going to our father's cabinet shop to watch, learn and most of all, work along our father. He also had a passion for music. Peter played the trumpet in the Northport High School Band and Northport Community Band which led him to working in musical instrument repair. His musical background and skills in electronics propelled him to a successful career as an audio engineer. He has worked on numerous musical productions and events throughout New York and the Northeast; all of which helped him to create his own Audio Contracting Business.
Peter loved to laugh and could recite from memory comedy skits, his favorite being Monty Python. He loved dogs and cherished his time with his best friend Ally. She made him smile even on the worst days.
Peter was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Doris Romandetti and is survived by his brothers Michael (Theresa) Romandetti and Richard (Christine) Romandetti, sister Nancy (Ronald) Mount, nephews Joseph (Tracie), Christopher, Matthew, Jonathan, Anthony and Christian, his niece Jessica (Chuck) and his great nephews Ryan, Jacob, Logan and Mason.
There will be a Memorial Service for Peter at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Madison, Alabama on Wednesday, March 18th at 11:30 am followed by his inurnment at the Church columbarium.
