Petra "Blanca" Ramirez

Petra "Blanca" Ramirez entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 85. She was born on September 13, 1940, to Celso Ramirez Sr. and Nieves Carrasco Ramirez in Alpine, Texas. Petra worked for many years as a waitress. She was a faithful member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Premont, Texas for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Felix Saenz; brothers, Celso Ramirez Jr. and Agapito Ramirez; and sister, Julia (Joe) Lozano.
Petra is survived by her son, Alejandro Saenz of Refugio; daughters, Refugia Gonzalez of Premont, Grace Gonzalez of Falfurrias, Viola Gonzalez of Corpus Christi, and Terry S. Allen of Falfurrias; brothers, Jimmy (Olga) Ramirez, Joe (Rosa) Ramirez, David (Imelda) Ramirez, Mario Ramirez and Ricky Ramirez; sisters, Dolores (William) Reed and Rosalinda Ramirez; sisters-in-law, Amalia Ramirez and Mary Ann Ramirez; and numerous extended family members.
Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Alaniz Funeral Home in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias with Burial to follow at Los Olmos Cemetery on FM 2191 in Falfurrias.
