Phillip Anthony Sotello

Phillip Anthony Sotello 31 of Tucson Arizona passed away at home in Tucson, surrounded by family, February 16, 2026. He joyfully took the hand of Jesus and ascended with Him into Heaven. He was born in Portland Oregon to Daniel Sotello and Elizabeth Valdez, on July 9, 1994. He spent most of his life in San Diego with several years in Kalispell Montana and the last 5 years of his life in Tucson. Phillip was special needs, but never let his disabilities prevent him from practicing his artistic talents. He was an ambassador of love and loved being with family and friends, listening to and singing Christian music, traveling with his grandparents and father, collecting model cars and bowling with family.

He is survived by his father Daniel Sotello of Hemet CA, sister Anais Sotello of Tucson AZ, mother and step father Elizabeth & John Valdez, grandparents: Tim & Sylvia Hoskins, Rosa Faria, aunts and uncles: Natalie Poulter, Maria & Chuck McEldowney, Randy & Norma Cabral and many cousins.

We wish to thank hospice for their loving care of Phillip. A private celebration of life will be held in California at a later date.
