Phyllis Cooke

Phyllis June Cooke (née Yockey), age 81, passed away on November 16, 2025, in Cleveland, Ohio. Born on August 8, 1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she lived a life marked by dedication to her profession and meaningful connections with family and friends.
Phyllis earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati, laying the foundation for a distinguished career as a Certified Public Accountant. Her expertise and diligence led her to work with several esteemed institutions, including Harbor Branch, the Mayo Clinic, and Lockheed Martin. In each role, she contributed significantly to the advancement of research and innovation through her meticulous financial stewardship. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she cherished the ocean, enjoyed concerts and travel, and held a steady faith in Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her children, Todd (Joy) Hutchinson, Bryan Miller, and Michelle (Ben) Dale; her grandchildren, Taylor Hutchinson, Jordan (Hutchinson) Garner, Christian Miller, CJ Dale, Katie Dale, Jake Dale, and Joe Dale; her great-grandchildren, Greyson Miller, Vance Miller, Asa Miller, and Maggie Garner; and her sister-in-law, Judy Yockey. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Edward and Ruth Yockey, and her brother, Ronald Yockey.
