Priscilla Ann Hale (Allen), age 77, resident of Lubbock, Texas passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born on May 14, 1948, in Sweetwater, Texas, Priscilla lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to caring for others.
A proud Texan by birth, Priscilla moved to Lovington, New Mexico with her family as a teen. Priscilla attended Lovington High School and later attended New Mexico Junior College where she obtained her education in nursing. Priscilla pursued her calling in nursing with remarkable passion. She became a registered nurse in New Mexico in 1974, and went on to serve in the profession for 50 years. Her career in Hobbs, New Mexico and Lubbock, Texas spanned numerous specialties—including Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), Burn Intensive Care Unit (BICU), Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL), Dialysis, and Forensics—each one reflecting her deep commitment to healing and service. Through decades of tireless work, she touched countless lives with her skillful hands and generous heart.
Priscilla's nursing career began in New Mexico, and in her last days of life, Priscilla was lovingly cared for by the exceptional nurses and physicians of The University of New Mexico.
Priscilla's life was deeply rooted in family. She is survived by her loving husband, David Hale; her children Robin Pinkert, Joe Franco, Michael Hale, Rachel Hale, Melissa Kramer, and Brian Kramer; and her grandchildren Taylor Richmond, Jared Richmond, Mason Pinkert, TJ Franco, Meaghan Franco, John Kramer, Logan Kramer, Zoe Hale, and Emmitt Hale. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren Emma Grace Richmond, Graham Allen Richmond, and Grayson Lane Richmond. She also shared a meaningful chapter of her life with former spouse Floyd Lowery.
She was preceded in death by her parents Earldene and Floyd Allen and her brother Robert Allen.
Outside of her professional achievements and family devotion, Priscilla found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved cooking meals that brought family and friends together around the table. Her garden was a place of peace and beauty, a reflection of the care she gave to everything she nurtured. A loyal fan of Texas Tech Football, she cheered on the Red Raiders with pride. Travel brought her delight as she explored new places with curiosity and joy.
Priscilla was a devoted dog mother who showered her dogs with affection. Her love for her dogs was another guiding light in her life. Toby, Wally, Puddin, Bucky and Rusty were blessed to be in her care.
Faith played an important role throughout Priscilla's life. Priscilla entered into full communion with the Catholic Church, and she also found spiritual enrichment attending services at Baptist churches over the years.
Those who knew Priscilla remember her as beautiful inside and out, delightful in spirit, compassionate in action, generous with her time and love, and always authentic in every interaction. Her presence was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her and inspiration to all whose lives she touched. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 16, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Social House Venue & Events 5511 126th Street.
