Rachel Silagyi

Rachel L. Silagyi, born on September 9, 1981, in Washington, DC passed away on December 15, 2025, in Heathsville, Virginia. She was 44 years old.

Rachel pursued her education with dedication and earned bachelor's degrees from both Old Dominion University and George Mason University. Her academic achievements reflected her commitment to learning and personal growth.

She is lovingly remembered by her father, Michael Silagyi; her grandfather, Bill Bowers; her brother, Andrew (Barbara) Silagyi; her nephews; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Rachel was predeceased by her mother, Deidre Schultz; her grandmother, Patricia Bowers; her grandfather, Eugene Silagyi; and her grandmother, Elizabeth Silagyi.

Rachel's memory will be cherished by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
