Rachel Rose Slomowitz, 32 of Clayton Delaware, originally from New York, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026.

Rachel was predeceased by her father, Edward Slomowitz; her maternal grandparents, Frank and Joan Tricarico; her paternal grandparents John and Mila Slomowitz; and her maternal uncle, Frank Caputo.

She is lovingly survived by her mother, Debra Tricarico-Heinlein and her husband Louis Heinlein, her sisters, Nicole and Danielle Picariello; her brothers, Dominick Picariello and Marc Slomowitz; her cherished niece Dominique Carbone, and nephews, Benjamin and Oliver Slomowitz. As well as many beloved cousins and extended family members.

Rachel had a deep and tender love for animals, especially her dogs—Lola, Zeus, Ezra, and Kodi—who were truly her heart. As a dedicated dog groomer, she found joy and purpose in caring for animals. Her gentle spirit, compassion, and natural ability to nurture made her not only wonderful at her profession but deeply loved by those who knew her.

Rachel will be remembered for her warmth, her devotion to her family, and the special bond she shared with the animals she cared for. Her love leaves an imprint that will never fade.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Services will be held at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 25 Ocean Avenue, Center Moriches on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 10:45am.
