Randle Benjamin Moore (Ben, Moe) 82 years old, was born
August 12, 1943, in Gary, Indiana to the late Nathaniel and Daisy (Wise) Morre Sr, Ben was a former member of New Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorage of Reverend C. Curtis. He attended Froebel High School. He enjoyed all sports, from basketball to hockey, always rooting for who people said were the underdogs. Ben enjoyed his Knock and Tripoly Family fun times.

Randle was united in holy wedlock to Mary (Armstrong) Moore for 64 years and to this union four children were born Randle Benjamin Jr., Darrell Alonzo, Michelle (Moore) Isabell and Phillip Earl (deceased). In 1984 he became co-guardian of his niece and nephews, Talecia (Armstrong), Riley, Willie Akbar, and Balala Armstrong.

Randle bid farewell to this life on Friday, January 30, 2026, at home after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas and Birdella (Wise) Marshall, parents Nathaniel and Daisy (Wise) Moore Sr., two sons Benjamin Moore and Phillip Earl Moore, four brothers, Walter Moore, George Young, Willie Young, and Nathaniel Moore Jr., and two sisters Nadlene Moore and Daisy (Moore) Bryant.

He is survived by his devoted wife Mary Elizabeth Moore, sons
Randle Jr., Darrell, and Anthony Moore. Daughters (#1 daughter) Michelle Moore-Isabell, Gary, IN, Joyce (Anthony) Jackson, Gwendolyn Thomas, and Kathlene (John) Fox IV of Indianapolis IN, twenty-five grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren Special niece and nephews, Talecia, Willie, and Balala Gilliam-Armstrong. Special help aid brother-in-law Herman James IV and Loretta James. Special friends Willie and Diana Brooks Sr, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Friday, February 13, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. with family hour from 6:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at the Guy & Allen Chapel 2959 West 11th Avenue Gary, Indiana 46404. Funeral service Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church 2075 Kentucky Street Gary, Indiana. Pastor Hollis D. Manna officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.
