Randy Purnell Yost

Randy Purnell Yost, 63 of Rockville, passed away on Dec 5 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Randy was born August 2, 1963 to Rowland Purnell Yost and Paula Rafun Yost. Randy spent most of his life living in Ellington before moving to Rockville. Randy loved the outdoors and spent many wonderful hours fishing and hunting. For the last 20 years, Randy worked as an inspector and delivery man for Ladd and Hall furniture. Randy leaves behind a half sister, Kelly Aronson, his sister/aunts Mary Ann Y. Harting and Dori Y. Skinner, both of Stafford Springs and his brother/uncle Richard H Yost of Rockville. His mother Paula in Fla and his special friends Bill and Melody in Maine. He is predeceased by his grandparents Henry S Yost and Dorothy Purnell Yost, who raised him from infancy, his father Rowland Purnell Yost, his sister Sherri Ann Yost and brother Mike H Yost. Randy will always be remembered by his red hair and handlebar mustache. His struggle is over now.
