Raymond T. Anderson Jr., of Centennial, Colorado, passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on February 27, 1943, in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, Raymond was the son of Raymond T. Anderson and Mary Elanor Weigel. He grew up one of three siblings and is survived by his two brothers, his older brother, George, and his younger brother, Jim. From an early age Raymond enjoyed sports and developed a passion for high school football.
Raymond attended Washington & Jefferson College in Pennsylvania, where he laid the foundation for a long and successful professional life. During his youth in Coraopolis, he met Carolyn Vance, the love of his life. The two married on June 22, 1968, beginning a partnership filled with devotion and deep mutual support.
In 1967, Raymond began his career with IBM, a role that would eventually bring him and Carolyn to Centennial, Colorado. There they raised their family and enjoyed all that the region had to offer. Raymond spent 30 years in sales at IBM, earning respect for his dedication and steady leadership. He later continued his career at Antalys in Golden, Colorado, bringing his experience to a smaller, close-knit team.
Raymond found joy outdoors and in lifelong learning. He was an avid reader, a passionate fly-fisherman, and loved embarking on cross-country motorcycle trips. Colorado's mountains and rivers became the backdrop for many of his happiest days.
Above all, Raymond was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his daughter, Niki Hansen (John), and his son, Michael Anderson (Deirdre). He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His cherished grandchildren: Brady, Luke, Carter, Tagg, Neely, and Grant, carry forward his love of learning, adventure, and the outdoors.
