Raymond Charles Gauger

Raymond Charles Gauger was born on June 8, 1955, to Joseph and Louise Gauger. He grew up in Dearborn, Michigan, where he attended school, graduating from Edsel Ford High School. Ray continued his education at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, earning both a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering.
Ray spent his professional career in the automotive industry, working for Rockwell, General Motors, and Ford Motor Company. He was proud of his work and deeply loyal to the University of Michigan.
A devoted member of Historic Trinity Lutheran Church, Ray loved the Lord, his family, and all things U of M. His faith was a guiding force throughout his life.
Ray is survived by his beloved wife, Heidi (Wagner) Gauger; his children Ray and Kara (Turle), Len and Jen (O'Sandusky), and Joseph; and his cherished grandchildren Emilia, Melina, Summer, and Caid. He is also survived by his brothers Paul and Judy (Lincoln), and Don and Kathryn (Kane), along with many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
