Raymond Blair Perkins Jr

Raymond Blair Perkins Jr., 69, of Budd Lake, N.J. formerly of Montclair, N.J., passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Blair was born on June 9th, 1956 in Providence, RI, raised in Montclair, NJ and settled in Budd Lake, N.J. He was the son of the late Raymond Blair Perkins and Mavis (Payne) Perkins of Montclair, NJ. One of six children, he was their first-born son, graduating with an Associate's Degree from the County College of Morris in 1990. An outdoors and nature enthusiast, he will be remembered for his love of family, as well as his social and outgoing personality that will be missed by all who knew him.

Blair is survived by the love of his life Barbara Ann Cobb, with whom he was with for 36 years, including 21 years of marriage. In addition to his wife Barbara, he is survived by sisters Nancy Blair Perkins of Highland Mills, NY, Elizabeth Chaffee Perkins of Providence, RI, Kathleen Stacey Perkins of Alameda, CA, Diane Patricia Perkins of Cedar Grove, NJ, and brother Timothy Payne Perkins of Santa Monica, CA. He is also survived 12 nieces and nephews as well as three great nephews and one grand niece.

Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Friday, January 16 from 4-7 p.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 17 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Cedar Grove. Interment at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Upper Montclair will be private.
