It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Raymond "Scott" Robinson, 50, who passed away in his home of three years on Monday, January 19th. Scott was the beloved first son of Barbara Robinson and Raymond (Laura) Robinson, and the cherished brother of Daniel, Cory (Maggie) and Justin (Brie). He was adored and will be sorely missed by his nieces and nephews, Justin, Cory, Michael, Ava, Tori, Sophia and Noah. Scott was an amazing artist and chef, he was funny, caring, generous and loving. He had an great circle of friends. Scott loved sports, lettering in three sports in high school, he became a scholar athlete and went on to attend Purdue University. Most recently he could be seen with his kayak on top of his Jeep rolling toward a river. Scott was a mentor to others and was known for his ability to rebound and to encourage others to do so as well. The quote below from F. Scott Fitzgerald hung on Scott's wall.
For what it's worth...it's never too late, or in my case too early, to be whoever you want to be. There are no rules to this thing. I hope you live a life you're proud of, and if you're not, I hope you have the courage to start over again.
F. Scott Fitzgerald
A private celebration of life will be held by Scott's family. The date of the wake will be announced on Facebook.
