Raymond L. Tetrault was born on July 8, 1946, in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, the third of 6 sons of Hector and Bella Tetrault. He passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026. His wife Deborah and brother in law Artie and sister in law Bridgetta where with him at his passing. Ray lived a full and meaningful life surrounded by family and loved ones.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Tetrault, with whom he shared many cherished years. Together, they built a loving family that was the cornerstone of Ray's life. He was a proud father to Erin Tetrault (and her husband Abe Argibay), Shaun Tetrault (and his wife Vanessa Tetrault), and Kevin Tetrault (and his wife Michelle Tetrault). His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren: Sophia Argibay; Emily and Easton Tetrault; Justin Tetrault (and his wife Sapna Tetrault); and great-grandsons Jaylen and Julian Tetrault.Also his brother-in-law Artie Dolan (and his wife Brigetta Dolan)and their children Michael Dolan Reilly and Tracy Dolan and their families.
Ray also leaves behind his brothers Leonard Tetrault (and his late wife Betsy), Alfred Tetrault (and his wife Deborah), and Paul Tetrault (and his wife Nancy). He was predeceased by his brothers Roger and Ritchard but is fondly remembered by their families: Linda Tetrault; Steven, Michael, and Daniell Gooch Tetrault; Beth Tetrault; and Benjamin Tetrault. Additionally, Ray is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and in-laws who held him dear, including Serena and Jessica Tetrault, and their families.
Throughout his life, Ray maintained close bonds with those around him. His warmth and dedication to family were evident in every interaction. Whether spending time with loved ones or celebrating milestones together, Ray’s presence brought joy to all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 22, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Napper Tandys located at 60 East Main Street,Bay Shore,NY, 11706. The celebration will take place in the upstairs room with an elevator available for handicapped access.
Raymond Lawrence "Ray" Tetrault will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched. May his memory bring comfort to those who mourn his passing.
