Reather Chambers

Mrs. Reather (née Harris) Chambers, 83, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on February 18, 2026. She was born April 27, 1942, in Lawndale, Cleveland County, North Carolina, to the late Ellen (Louise) Allen Flowers and W.Edward Harris. In 1961, she relocated to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and in 1962 she married Curtis J. Chambers.

She is survived by three sons, Erwin R. Harris, Mark M. Jones, and Curtis A. Chambers; two daughters, Raquel S. Chambers Gilbert and Pamela Chambers; her brother, Sylvanius Flowers; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was cremated and her cremated remains will be entombed at Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA. No services were held. In lieu of flowers, memorial trees may be planted. Please share condolences and memories in guestbook.
