She had a passion for gardening and took pride in her flowers, always surrounding herself with beauty. She loved being with her family—laughing, talking, and simply spending time together. Those were the moments that meant the most to her. Her kind and gentle spirit made everyone feel welcome, and she truly cherished the people she loved.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Jason Gibson (Heather), Travis Gibson, Heather Gibson, Tomalea Stevens (Donnie), Hannah Hagler, Katana Ackerman (Greg), and Jason Scott Higgins (Vanessa); her great-nieces and great-nephews; and many cousins whom she loved dearly.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Allen Laxton; her father, Robert Bernard Gibson Sr.; her stepfather, Roy Calvin Brown; her stepmother, Gloria Gibson; her siblings, Robert Bernard Gibson Jr. and Rita Kay (Gibson) Kraft; her grandson, Chase Orion; her nephew, Nathan Daniel Hagler; and her grandparents, Grace and Abner Hall.

She will be deeply missed and always remembered. She is now at peace, reunited with her sweetheart.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and no services will be held.
