Rebecca Jane Miller

Rebecca Jane Miller, 73, passed away peacefully at her home in Avon Lake, Ohio, on March 2, surrounded by her loving family.

Rebecca was born on January 30, 1953, in Akron, Ohio, to George and Mary Jane Taylor. Though she most recently lived in Avon, she spent the majority of her life in Washington, Pennsylvania, where she built a life centered around faith, family, and caring for others.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, George Taylor; her mother, Mary Jane Taylor; and her sister, Gloria Ross.

Rebecca was a devoted mother to her daughters: Michele Zinser (Karl), Renea Bunner (Jeff), Amber Jackson (Clayton), and Kayla Olds (Tyler). She was a proud grandmother to Justin Zinser, Megan Molnar (Steven), and Nathan Zinser (Emma).

Her greatest joy in recent years were her young granddaughters, Mila, Cove and Noa and her great grandson Eli, who were all truly the light of her life.

She is also survived by her loving siblings, Regina Emerick (Jim) and Sid Taylor (Liz).

Rebecca loved Jesus deeply and spent much of her time reading her Bible and growing in her faith. In her younger years, she shared her beautiful voice by singing in church. She had a well-known sweet tooth and loved cooking for her family, always making sure no one left her home hungry.

Rebecca had a heart for people and treated everyone she met with kindness, love, and respect. She would help anyone in need—whether family, friend, or stranger. Music always brought her joy; whenever oldies music played, you could count on Rebecca dancing along with a smile.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her generous spirit, her unwavering faith, and the deep love she had for her family.

A memorial service will be held in Washington, Pennsylvania, at a later date.
