Rebecca Johnson Pfenning

Rebecca Johnson Pfenning passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026. She was born in Macon, Georgia on March 18, 1944 to Joyce and Anthony Wayne Johnson. Her birthday was lovingly shared with her late brother AW Johnson. She graduated from Englewood High School in 1962 where she met her high school sweetheart Everett, whom she married November 17, 1962. Becki had a long career in banking and real estate, while most recently she was a volunteer of the Baptist Auxiliary at Baptist Nassau Hospital in Fernandina Beach Florida. She is preceded in death by her husband Everett Pfenning, her mother Joyce Hodges, her brother AW Johnson and sister Susie Hodges.
Becki is survived by her daughter Angie Williams, husband Darrell, son Michael Pfenning, wife Tiffani, grandchildren Austin, wife Carli, great grandchild Wes, Garrett, wife Miriam, expecting great grandchild in July, Carlynn, Clayton, and Taylour with great grandchild Waylon. She is also survived by her siblings Ann and Tillman Baxley, Anthony Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, sister in law Blanche Johnson, several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
There will be private family service on April 9, 2026 at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, St. John's Bluff Rd. N. Jax, FL., however the family will receive company from 3-7 pm at her home in Fernandina Beach.
Flowers are always welcome or donations can be made in her name to Baptist Auxiliary, Baptist Nassau, Fernandina Beach or Northeast Florida Community Hospice.
