Renee McConnell

Renee Valorie McConnell, beloved daughter of the late Harold and Eleanor Stillwaggon, died on December 7, 2025 at the age of 72.

Born on February 23, 1953, in Aurora, Illinois, Renee was a woman of warmth and kindness whose presence brought joy to those around her. She leaves behind her brother, Harold Stillwaggon Jr., of East Windsor CT, and her stepchildren Gina Hicklin and Kirk McConnell (Carrie) of New Hampshire. She was preceded in death by her brothers Randy Stillwaggon and Dana Stillwaggon; sister Holly Goodale; and stepson Brent McConnell. Renee shared 39 devoted years of marriage with her late husband, John (Jack) McConnell, whose memory she cherished until her final days.

Renee was baptized in 1972 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She loved Bible truths and loved sharing in the Christian ministry. At the time of her death, Renee was a faithful member of the Warehouse Point Congregation.

She loved spending time outdoors and often took peaceful walks that reflected her appreciation for the beauty of the natural world. Renee loved music and singing. She had a beautiful singing voice and in her younger years she even played the viola.

A Funeral Service will be held on December 27, 2025, at 01:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 202 North Road, East Windsor, CT.
