Richard Earl King II

Richard Earl King II, 78, passed away on March 8, 2026, in Plano, TX. Born on March 23, 1947, Richard lived a vibrant life characterized by his love for storytelling, his jovial spirit, and his ability to make friends with everyone he met.
Richard attended Lancaster High School and later built a successful career as a Realtor and mortgage loan officer, where he was known for his dedication and expertise. Outside of his professional life, Richard was passionate about the outdoors, enjoying fishing, camping, and hiking. He was also a talented watercolor artist and an avid car enthusiast.
Richard is survived by his sons, Zachery King and Jeffrey Grise; brothers, Robert King (Jinny), Bill King, and Danny King (Debra); Sister, Margaret King; grandchildren, Cadence King, Matthew Grise and Karen Coyle; nephews, and great grandbabies. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary King; son, Austin King; brother, David King; and aunt, Margaret (Margie) Sweden.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 300 N. Coit Rd, Suite 260, Richardson, TX 75080. Richard's life will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him, as his legacy of warmth and humor continues to inspire.
