Richard Randy Michener, 62, of Parker, Colorado, passed away on September 25, 2025, with his family by his side.
Richard earned his Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Everest College in 1989. He built a successful 35-year career in the construction industry, where his hard work and dedication earned the respect of everyone who knew him. Over the years, Richard lived in Southern California, the Denver metro area, and Estes Park, Colorado. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and could often be found fishing, exploring nature, or playing with his beloved dog.
Above all, Richard cherished his family and the time he spent with them. His warmth, humor, and love for life touched everyone around him. He will be remembered with deep affection and missed beyond measure by his family and friends.
Richard leaves behind his beloved wife, Leslie Harvey; son Geoffrey (Jenni) Michener and daughter Ashley Michener; step-son John (Ashley) Rettberg; and grandchildren Harrison and Penelope Michener, and Anthony Rettberg. He is also survived by his brothers Paul (Dianne) Michener and Dana (Audra) Michener; nieces Nisa Michener, Loren (Viki) Michener, Brynn Michener, and Rosalyn Michener; nephew Michael Michener; great-nephew Bryan Michener; and great-niece Adelyn Michener. He is also survived by his aunts Alice Schaefer and Joan (Bruce) Foote - and his furry baby, Molly.
Richard was the son of the late Bryan and Nancy Michener. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
