In life, Ricky was devoted to his wife, Lisa Douchette, his partner since his age of 19, a love that spanned over 45 years and more than half of both of their lives, built on loyalty, patience, and a bond that endured every obstacle in its path.
He was a proud father to his son, Timothy Douchette, and his daughter, Kimberly Douchette, both of whom carry his strength, his values, and the quiet lessons he lived by. Through them, his light, his willpower, and his way of loving continue forward.
He was a loving and devoted grandfather to Lily Douchette and Madison Douchette, both of whom were a source of immense joy and pride in his life. He loved living life through their eyes.
Ricky also leaves behind his Aunt Kathy and Uncle Henry Talbot; his sisters-in-law, Jacqueline, Pamela, and Nikki; his brother-in-law Jonathan, his brother Randy, and sister, Sharon; three lifelong friends, Pat and the two Als; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and a generation of little league baseball players who loved him dearly.
Ricky will be reunited with his father, Joseph Douchette; his mother, Yvonne Wrinn; his sisters, Dawn and Karen Douchette; and his brother, Dwayne Hornburg, all of whom he carried with him in life and now joins again.
His absence will forever change the world for all those who ever knew and loved him.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal services. A private gathering will be held by his immediate family.
