Robert (Bob) Avey, age 89 of whitmore lake, MI passed away peacefully at his home. Bob was born on March 12,1936 in Detroit, MI to Thomas and Margaret Avey. Bob was a hardworking cement contractor, jack of all trades,and owner of custom trenching. He taught all of his sons and many others the concrete trade. His love for his family and trade kept him working until he was 86 years old. Bob was very knowledgeable in building and construction and helped many people throughout his life. He was a former board of trustee of Northfield Township and a resident of Whitmore Lake for over 60 years with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His family..Bob leaves behind wife, Kathy, son Tim (Kim) and daughter Aimee. He also leaves behind several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sister:Ruth Avey. Bob was preceded into death by Kay (late wife), his sons Mark, John, and Rob Avey. Grandchildren Robert (Robbie) and Colby Avey. Brother: John Avey.
Family and friends will gather at Captain Joes in Whitmore Lake, MI on March 12, 2026 at 4pm on what would be Bobs 90th birthday.
