Robert "Bob" Perrotta

Robert "Bob" Perrotta, 55, a longtime resident of Wonder Lake, IL, passed away on January 27, 2026.
Born in Chicago to Maria and Ralph Perrotta, Bob was a devoted father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend, whose greatest joy was making the people around him laugh.
He was the proud father of Lucas, Levi, and Layla, and the loving husband of 24 years to Jennifer. Bob was also a devoted dog dad to the bestest of boys, most recently to his beloved Zeus, who rarely left his side.
A lifelong sports lover and true Chicagoan, Bob was a devoted fan of both the Cubs and the Bears. They reflected his unwavering spirit and deep-rooted resilience, and he never missed a chance to debate a bad call, celebrate a big win, or, like every Bears fan during this year's playoffs, yell at the TV. He poured his heart into coaching both youth football and baseball. Bob was more than a coach; he truly cared for every player and treated them like family. He brought the same spirit, guidance, and heart to coaching that he learned when playing high school football. Go Rockets!
Known for his sarcastic wit and a fierce, stubborn streak, Bob had a larger-than-life personality with a love for Call of Duty, WWE, and action movies. He also enjoyed spending time on the golf course and out fishing, but was happiest when he was making Jennifer and their family laugh.
Not one to be pigeonholed, Bob was a true jack-of-all-trades, primarily a forklift driver, but also an exterminator, a utility locator, and photographer, just to name a few. Whatever the job, he brought dedication, humor, and heart.
Bob leaves behind countless memories, inside jokes, and an amazing recipe for Chilaquiles. His laughter and love for his family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Bob's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through cornea and tissue donation.
A Celebration of Life Open House will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 1-4 pm at Stage Left Café, 125 W. VanBuren St, Woodstock, IL 60098.
