Robert Preston Brannon
November 10, 1937- September 20, 2020
Growing up in Georgia during World War ll, having no father, and no role models as all
the men in his community were away at war, he had a difficult childhood. After High School he served in the Air Force, and was stationed in this country.
From there, he worked at IBM in the earliest days of the computer. He contributed to the invention of enqueue
and dequeue commands..."Small patterning processing", which became the "booting up" process.
Bob had a wonderful sense of humor, could build a house, as well as understand science and technology, but he knew he needed to improve certain coping and interpersonal skills that weren't developed during his youth. He attended "mindfulness" and therapy groups for many years as he evolved into the perceptive and kind person that I knew.
He told me that he was grateful to his late wife and his children for having helped him with his evolving self- awareness.
Bob was so important to me!
As long as I'm alive I will always miss him very much.....
I'm grateful to him. And I so appreciate being part of his extended family.
He was helpful and encouraging to me in SO many ways.

I love you, "Bo", and I always will. And I thank you❣️
