Robert Earl Henderson "Bobby" age 69 of Gary,In passed away February 27,2026. He was the forth child born to Robert Henderson and Nona Mae Webster Henderson on February 13, 1957 in Gary, Indiana.Bobby received his education in the Gary Public School System. He attended Lincoln elementary School, Beckman Junior High School and Roosevelt High School.
Bobby professed his belief in Christ and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age and was baptized at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. E.B. Joyner. Bobby remained a member of Jerusalem until the time of his death.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Nona Mae Henderson; grandchild, Damarion Henderson; 2 brothers, Gene and William Jackson; 3 sisters, Mary L. Battle, Mattie M. Walker and Debra Matthews. Bobby is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Ms. Anita Henderson; Son, Rodney Parker; 4 Daughters, Danielle Staples (Dakia); Nona Finley (David); Lady Tiffany Washington (Rev. Marquise); Ellen Gill (Parris); 16 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1st cousin, Bernice Braden; and a host of nephews; nieces; cousins; other relatives and friends.
