Robert Earl Lawrence

Robert Earl Lawrence, 76, passed away on February 11, 2026, in Stuarts Draft, VA. Known for his deep commitment to his family and his craft, Robert was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, cherished by all who knew him.
Robert's professional life was marked by his expertise as a Master Tradesman, specializing in welding. His passion for his craft extended beyond his working years as he dedicated himself to teaching future tradesmen at VVTC after his retirement, sharing his skills and knowledge with many who would remember his teachings for years to come.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lawrence; daughter, Sheridan Lawrence; sister, Alice Faye Lawrence Dodge; brother, Lashlee E. Lawrence, Jr.; sister, Jean Banks; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Kelly; father, Lashlee E. Lawrence, Sr.; and sisters, Joann Sandridge and Mary Shifflett.
No memorial service is planned. Robert's life and legacy will continue to be celebrated privately by his family and friends. His unwavering support and love for his family will forever be remembered and cherished.
