Robert Charles Mack, 90, passed away peacefully at home on December 17, 2025, in Rochelle Park, New Jersey.
Born on October 15, 1935, in Detroit Michigan, Robert was educated in Mackinaw City, Michigan, attending both the public schools and high school there. He later pursued higher education at Bergen Community College in Paramus and Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Robert served from 1957 to 1961 as a radio repairman and was honorably discharged with a Good Conduct Medal. His professional life was marked by a dedicated career as an electrical engineer with BENDIX Corporation in Teterboro, NJ; DYMO Graphic Systems in Wilmington, MA; and Metal Improvement in Carlstadt, NJ.
Robert's faith was rooted in the Church of the Straits in Mackinaw City. He found joy in sports—especially baseball, basketball, football, golf, and tennis—and enjoyed reading Reader's Digest.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Diane Clara Mack, in 2008. He is remembered with love by his children: Robert Jr., James (Josephine), Gregory, Michael, and Arlene (Jerry Gregor). He was the cherished grandfather of Christine, Justin, Ashley, and Garrett. He also leaves behind his brother, James (Lorna) Mack, and his sister, Frances Mountjoy, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A private memorial service was held in Belleville, New Jersey.
Robert will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. May he rest peacefully in God's eternal care.
