Robert Duncan McKeracher of Juno Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 30,2026, at Jupiter Medical Center.

Bob was born on August 28, 1943, in Montreal, Canada, to Reta Jane and Donald Soutar McKeracher. At the age of nine, his family moved to Toronto, where he attended local schools and was a member of the inaugural graduating class of Richview Collegiate Institute. He went on to earn a Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and completed his CPA designation while working at Price Waterhouse in Toronto. After a brief period with Molson, Bob joined J.P. Morgan, where he enjoyed a distinguished career in both the London, England, and New York offices. Following his retirement from J.P. Morgan, Bob embraced entrepreneurship and founded RDM Associates and served on a variety of boards. After ten years, he fully retired, and he and his wife Joan moved to Juno Beach,
Florida.

Like many young Canadian boys, Bob developed an early love for ice hockey playing competitively on one of Ontario's traveling farm teams. He was also an avid golfer, beginning as a junior at St. George's Golf & Country Club. Over the years, he was a longtime member of Hackensack Golf Club in New Jersey and concluded his golfing years at Jupiter Hills Club in Florida. Bob also took great pleasure in traveling extensively with his family, especially while living abroad.

Bob was married for 57 years to his high school sweetheart, Joan, and was a devoted husband who always put family first. He was a loving father to Rob, Melissa (Hakim), and Sarah, and a proud grandfather to Thea, Sarah, Robbie, and Madeleine. He was a cherished uncle to his nieces Mary Jane and Donna. Bob was predeceased by his sister, Mary Fellner, and shared many wonderful memories with his sister-in-law, Judy Mayer.

Bob will be remembered as a caring, loyal, and selfless man whose integrity and quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren—coaching teams, attending games and recitals, and enjoying weekend outings to the wildlife center. A true gentleman in every sense, Bob will be deeply missed every day.
