Robert "Bob" Ousley Jr., 71, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away on November 17, 2025, at Sparrow Hospital.
Born on January 31, 1954, in Martin, Kentucky, Robert was the son of Mae Owens and Robert Ousley Sr. He built a life marked by dedication and hard work, spending 22 years employed at Pratt and Whitney of Lansing before retiring in 2020.
On April 30, 2025, Robert married his longtime partner, Joselyn McIntire. Their union was a celebration of enduring companionship and love. Robert cherished time spent with his family and grandchildren, finding joy in simple pleasures and shared moments.
He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and could often be found fishing from his boat at Lake Interstate. He also enjoyed visiting the casino, watching westerns, and playing billiards—pastimes that brought him both relaxation and camaraderie.
Robert is survived by his wife, Joselyn Ousley; his sister Wanda Ousley; his children, Jennifer and Mark Ousley; stepdaughters Harley Tregaskis, Tylor Hintz, and Hailey Hintz; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Bill and Kenny Ousley; and stepson Christopher Hintz.
A gathering to honor Robert will be held at a later date.
