It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Robert "Bob" Charles Palmer, who passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on February 26, 1960, in Miami, Florida, Bob lived a life rooted in love, curiosity, and deep connection to those around him. He was surrounded by his loving wife, mother, children, and siblings during his peaceful passing into the spiritual world. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing he was held in love until his very last moment.

Bob was a true empath who changed the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. A loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, he was a deeply selfless man who cared for others in a way that was genuine, steady, and unwavering. He had a quiet strength about him—someone people naturally turned to for support, wisdom, and comfort. Bob spent his life sacrificing, providing, loving, and giving his very best in everything he did for the people around him.

Professionally, Bob built a respected career in the telecommunications industry, where he oversaw complex projects and played a meaningful role in the development and expansion of new telecommunications infrastructure. He approached his work with the same dedication, curiosity, and integrity that defined his personal life, earning the trust and respect of colleagues and partners throughout his career.

Bob was endlessly curious about the world. If something intrigued him and he didn't yet understand it, he was determined to learn it. Whether it was history, science, weather patterns, or the path of a plane overhead, he approached life with a thoughtful sense of wonder. That curiosity shaped so much of who he was and inspired those around him to look at the world a little more closely.

He found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life—music playing in the background, sharing a cold beer with family and friends, fishing and boating, days spent at the beach, watching the sky and tracking flights overhead, learning something new, and exploring new places. He especially cherished time outdoors and, most of all, time spent with the people he loved.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Andrea; his mother, Elaine; and his children, Leah, Robby (Gen), Greg (Stefi), and Lindsay (Drew). He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Sophia, Hudson, Bennett, and the soon-to-be newest granddaughter, Liliana, who will carry forward his legacy of love. He is also survived by his siblings Bill, Sharilyn, John and Karenda, along with many extended family members and dear friends who loved him deeply.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Ray Palmer.

Bob leaves behind a legacy of kindness, curiosity, and unconditional love that will live on through the many people whose lives he touched. His presence made the world feel steadier, warmer, and more connected.

A celebration of life will be held at Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit on April 17, 2026, at 12:00 PM. A reception will follow at Bushwacker's Landing, 13515 Canal Dr, Pensacola, FL 32507.

He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always carried in our hearts.
