Robert James Reid

Robert James "Robbie" Reid, 56, passed away on November 10, 2025, in Etlan, Virginia.

Born on October 22, 1969, Robbie was a lifelong local of Madison, Virginia-a familiar face whose easygoing nature and willingness to help made him well-loved throughout the community. Whether lending a hand, sharing a story, or simply showing up when someone needed him, Robbie embodied a quiet kindness that has left lasting memories upon those who knew him.

In his younger years, he traveled the world, an experience that broadened his horizons but never pulled him away from his deep roots in Madison.

Robbie is survived by his sister, Cheryl Meadows, and his brother, Randy Reid. He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Reid Sr., his mother, Betty Marshall, and his brother, Eugene Reid Jr.
