Robert Douglas Roth

Robert Douglas Roth, age 62, of Fort Myers, Florida was carried home by angels on December 24th, 2025. Rob was born on May 4th 1963, in Barberton, Ohio to Hugh Reid Roth and Elizabeth Jewell Roth. He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Roth and his beloved German shepherd, Jake.

Rob was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps enlisting just after his graduation from Fort Myers High School and then upon an Honorable Discharge, Rob worked locally for Bob Dean Supply, Fastenal in Naples and was employed by The Lee County Department of Transportation Traffic Division for the past 18 years where he was a beloved coworker. Rob was a member of the Thomas A. Edison Congregational Church, the Pioneer Club of Lee County and was on the Fort Myers Community Concerts Association Board of Directors.

Robbie is survived by his loving wife Whitney Blair Roth, his stepchildren, Carrington Martin and Wayles Martin, mother Elizabeth Pinkerton, sister Juliet Roth and brother Dave Roth. Rob had a green thumb and enjoyed working outdoors, he loved helping others and surprising family and friends with gifts.

The family will receive visitors at noon on January 17th at the Thomas A. Edison Congregational Church, 1619 Llewelyn Drive in Fort Myers, immediately followed by a memorial service at 1 PM.
