Robert F. Shipe Jr. of North Catasauqua, PA passed away peacefully December 28, 2025 at his home. He was the husband of Barbara K. (Buss) Shipe with whom he was married for 47 years at the time of her passing in 2022. Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania on June 17, 1951, he was the son of the late Robert F. Shipe Sr. and Helen C. (Shambach) Shipe. Bob was a 1970 graduate of Whitehall High School, and received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University in 1975. He was employed by several engineering firms including American Air Filter, SysTech and then started his own firm Chapel Environmental.

Bob was happiest at the family cabin at Promised Land State Park. He enjoyed coaching sports, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his friends at The Catty Club. He cherished his many dogs. He was an amazing father, friend and brother. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by sons Robert F. Shipe III, Benjamin P. Shipe with wife Jordan and grandson Max all of North Catasauqua. His siblings were Larry L. Shipe and wife Jane L. Shipe of Allentown, Linda L. Peters and her husband Paul J. Peters of North Catasauqua and Jane L. Laudenslager of Catasauqua wife of David R. Laudenslager. As well as his brother-in-law Robert J. Buss Jr. of Catasauqua and sister-in-law Judy Buss of Bethlehem. He also had several nieces and nephews.

Services officiated by Rev. Gary L. Walbert will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday January 10, 2026 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 1335 Old Carriage Road in Kreidersville, Northampton, Pennsylvania, where his family will receive guests beginning at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in Schoenersville Cemetery Allentown.
