Robert Andrews Vickery

Robert Andrews Vickery, age 45, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away in October 2025.

Robert was born on November 25, 1979. He was fiercely independent, a true free spirit who approached life in his own way and on his own terms. He had a sharp mind and a natural curiosity about the world, often thinking deeply about ideas, perspectives, and possibilities in ways that were uniquely his own. Robert was never afraid to question, explore, or see things differently, and that individuality was a defining part of who he was.

Music was one of his greatest passions. He enjoyed playing guitar and writing his own music, using creativity as both an outlet and a form of expression. He loved traveling and had a strong appreciation for German culture, always drawn to experiences that expanded his understanding of the world around him.

Above all, Robert was himself: authentic, unconventional, and unapologetically unique.

He is survived by his daughter, Taylor (Bill) White; his grandson, River White; his mother, Bonnie Vickery; his sister, Alexis (Michael) Sugg; his aunts, Sandie (Chet) Montz, Terri (Jeff) McPherson, Connie (Paul) Schroth, and Gayle (Chris) Pritchard; and his uncle, Scott Andrews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert P. Vickery; his aunt, Linda Lifsey; and his uncle, Dennis Vickery.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, March 1, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Rossford Eagles Aerie 2322, 658 Lime City Road, Rossford, Ohio 43460.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to listen to your favorite song, travel somewhere new, or create something in Robert’s memory.
