Roberta M. (Adams) Anglin, age 83, a longtime resident of Braintree, formerly of South Boston, died peacefully, Saturday, March 14, 2026 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, surrounded by her loving family.

Roberta was born in Boston, to the late Leo and Mary (McCormack) Adams. She was raised and educated in South Boston. She lived in Braintree for over fifty years.

Roberta was primarily a homemaker but had also worked as a waitress in various hotels in Boston for many years.

She was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth and a member of the Braintree Moose Lodge 413.

Roberta enjoyed trips to the casino, especially Foxwoods, and playing Bingo. Most of all, she was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, actively supporting their many activities and accomplishments.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas P. Anglin.

Devoted mother of Lisa A. Sweeney of Quincy and her late husband David, Kimberley A. Rowean of Braintree, Thomas P. Anglin of Weymouth, and Scott Anglin of Raynham.

Loving grandmother of Meaghan Sweeney; Ashley Rowean; Ashley Viglas, Amanda Anglin, and Amber Anglin.

Cherished great grandmother of Steven, Shane, and Cole.

The last of ten siblings, she was predeceased by Lillian Riley, Edna Abbott, Marie Wrick, Marilyn Rubnich, Daniel Higgins, Richard Adams, Ronald Adams, Robert Adams, and John Adams.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Memorial Visiting Hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Sunday, March 22, from 2 - 5 p.m. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish at Sacred Heart Church, 72 Washington Street, Weymouth, on Monday, March 23, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
