This Obituary is dedicated to the perpetual memory of a beautiful and loving daughter.

Berta, you left us so suddenly January 27, 2023. This day your age was 44 years, 4 months, 4 days. This sequencing of numbers still remains a mystery, now that we are almost three years towards that painful day. When I search the Word of God, I look at Philippians 4:4 which says the following, "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!"

God is Sovereign and does what He wills to do. It is past human understanding. As your Mother, I must trust His Heart, even if I can't trace His Hand. I look to embrace you once again, to see your smile, to kiss your face. 😘 💜💕💗

Nothing prevents my love from growing for you, even now. I miss you more than I can ever articulate. Not a day goes by that I don't wish to see you or hear your voice. This journey of grief is unlike anything else in life. I rely on the unyielding strength I find in the Word of God. You were a lady, full of life and ambition. You started "MarieWorthie.com" to underscore the "worth" of all women on this earth!
