Robin Malone Ferris, 66, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at her home in the woods, surrounded by family.
Born on July 27, 1959, Robin lived a life defined by creativity, resilience, and heart. Fiercely imaginative and endlessly curious, she was an artist in every sense of the word. In her early years she painted, illustrated, and carved wood, and later found new ways to express her creativity through digital design. Whether shaping something by hand or designing on a screen, she found joy in the simple act of creation.
Robin took great pride in the home she and her husband built in the woods, where she found inspiration in the changing seasons and joy in peaceful moments. She carved trails through the trees and transformed the landscape into a living reflection of her spirit, which was wild, warm, and full of life.
Known for her strength and steadfastness, Robin stood firm in her beliefs and was always there when others needed her most. She faced challenges with remarkable grace and humor, and her laughter and quick wit could light even the darkest of times.
Robin's greatest love was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard, her son Forrest, her daughter Alison, her beloved granddaughter Paige, and her brothers Doug and Chris. She also leaves behind many cherished relatives and lifelong friends across the country, each of whom carries a piece of her creative spirit and generous heart.
Despite facing medical challenges in recent years, Robin continued to put others first, giving her time, love, and care without hesitation. She found peace in life's small pleasures and sought only comfort, laughter, and the company of those she loved most.
While her passing leaves an ache in the hearts of those she touched, Robin's legacy lives on in every trail she blazed, every piece she crafted, and every soul she inspired. She is finally free from the worries of this world, resting as she so deeply deserved, in comfort and light.
To honor Robin's wishes, there will be no funeral service. We invite you to please privately celebrate her memory in your own ways.
