Robin Elaine Kelley, 67, of Danville, California, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026.
Born in Des Moines, Iowa, to Robert and Margaret Turner in 1958, Robin grew up with her younger brother Reed in Spokane, Washington where she excelled at playing clarinet. She made her way to San Francisco where she obtained her undergraduate business degree at San Francisco State University at night while working full time as a successful bond portfolio manager during the day. Married to Jim Kelley in 1983, the couple have three children: Austin, Aaron and Jason.
An avid reader and movie enthusiast, Robin directed her boundless energy to recognizing needs in the community and volunteering to identify and implement solutions. While living in Australia, Robin felt a call to ministry which she pursued upon her return to the U.S. In 2004, Robin graduated with a masters degree from Fuller Theological Seminary and was ordained by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. After serving in various church and community capacities, Robin formed EPIC Healthy Choices, a non-profit to serve youth and families in the San Ramon Valley.
Robin is survived by her husband of 42 years, her brother and her three children. There will be no near term funeral service. Instead, there will be a Celebration of Life event in the second half of this year (date to be determined). No flowers please. For those led to make a donation in her memory, please consider donating to World Vision or to Amazing Grace Maritime Missions, two of her favorite charities.
