Mrs. Robin Norton Spalding, 71, passed away on January 24, 2026, in Woodbridge, Virginia. Born on September 17, 1954, in Alexandria, Virginia, Robin lived a life marked by generosity, warmth, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.

Robin devoted much of her time to volunteering within the Prince William County school system. She was a familiar and beloved presence at C.D. Hylton High School, the middle schools attended by her daughters, and Neabsco Elementary School. Her volunteer work reflected her deep care for education and her desire to make a positive impact on young lives.

Robin found joy in many pastimes that brought people together. She loved playing bingo and crocheting—activities that showcased both her playful spirit and creative hands. A passionate sports fan, she cheered enthusiastically for the Washington Redskins (she said she would never call them the Commanders), the Washington Nationals, and the North Carolina Tarheels. Cher was Robin's favorite singer. NASCAR also held a special place in her heart; she never missed a chance to root for her favorite drivers. She also used to be an avid bowler and loved watching her daughter, Jess bowl as well.

Robin's kindness touched everyone who knew her. She knew everyone! And everyone who knew her loved her! She was considerate to a fault, always putting others before herself. Her warmth extended beyond family ties into friendships that spanned years and communities.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Kenneth South Spalding; her daughters, Jessica Spalding and Crystal Spalding; her son-in-law, Richard Moore; and her cherished beagle grand-doggies, Bengie and Frankie. Robin is also survived by her sisters Kitty Chauncey and Patty Greenspun. May Robin's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

Memorial details will be shared at a later date.
