Roger Harp

Roger Wayne Harp was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 26, 1960. He lived his last 16 years in Gordonville. Texas and passed away March 24, 2026.

Survived by his wife Rosemary Harp, Daughter Melodie Wade (Derek), Stepchildren Godgji Gill (Al), Adrian Alcala, Sierra Bates. His Sister Rebecca Shauff and 12 grandchildren.

Roger was an avid NASCAR fan and collector. He enjoyed traveling by car and had obtained hat pins from various trip locations he and Rosemary took together over the years. He enjoyed making model cars, trains, and airplanes. He loved nature and all his travels involved visiting National Parks. In their travels he would include train rides as part of the itineraries since he loved riding on old trains. He loved History and especially war history and included historical places on his and Rosemary's trips. Roger planned wonderful trips. He would watch movie documentaries and read about war battles all the time.

The family is planning two memorial services to celebrate Rogers Life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 14, 2026, at 02:00 PM at Good Shepherd Methodist Church 13110 Moss Rd.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 16, 2026, at 03:00 PM at Sherwood Shores Baptist Church 1044 Hillcrest Circle
