Roger Craig Trimmer, recently of Raleigh, NC, passed away on Dec. 17, 2025, two days after his 77th birthday. He was born in 1948 in Fort Jackson, SC to Tech Sgt John Luther Trimmer and Winifred E. Wagner Trimmer. The Trimmer family roots are in Adams and York counties, PA.
Rog was a US Army veteran & a longtime employee of Brockport Cold Storage. He loved dogs and cats and kids, and they loved him back! An eclectic music lover, he was also an avid reader & a loyal patron of Seymour Library over the many years he lived in Brockport, NY. Rog was always up for a good joke & was definitely known as "the fun uncle". He remained a devoted Buffalo Bills fan through their ups & downs. Go Bills! And he never missed an episode of Survivor. Nobody didn't like Rog. He will be missed by all of us who were lucky enough to know him.
Roger is predeceased by his parents, a brother, a brother-in-law, & one grand-nephew. He is survived by his loving family: a brother & best friend, Dwight Trimmer (Cary, NC); 2 sisters: Sally Aguon (Fayetteville, NC) & Jonelle Trimmer (Winchester, VA); 3 nieces: Angela Latham, Tara Moriarty, Stephanie Dannenberg; 5 nephews: Frank Curiel, Jr., Jamie Trimmer, Nathan Till, James Till, John Aguon; & several grand nieces, grand nephews, & cousins.
Arrangements are being handled by City of Oaks Cremation and Funeral Home and are incomplete at this time. In lieu of flowers, if you wish to do so, you may make a contribution in Roger's memory to The Seymour Library, 161 East Avenue, Brockport, NY 14420.
