Ron Mondi

Ron Mondi, 73, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, in Burlington, Massachusetts. Born on December 14, 1952, in Boston, Massachusetts, Ron lived a life marked by dedication to his craft, commitment to community service, and a deep love for his family.

Raised in Woburn, Ron excelled academically throughout the Woburn public school system, earning top honors in all his classes. His pursuit of excellence continued at Middlesex Community College, where he graduated in 1981 with a degree in Dental Laboratory Technology—a field that would become both his profession and passion.

Ron owned and operated his own dental laboratory for three decades. His meticulous attention to detail and unwavering dependability earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike. After closing his business, he continued to share his expertise by working full-time at Aspen Dental for 14 years. In addition to his professional work, Ron gave back to the next generation of dental technicians by teaching Advanced Techniques at Middlesex Community College for five years.

Known for his organizational skills and positive attitude, Ron had a remarkable ability to manage multiple responsibilities with precision and grace. Yet beyond his professional accomplishments, it was Ron’s humor and generosity that left a lasting impression on those around him. Whether offering help or sharing a laugh with his quick wit and creative mind, he brought warmth and joy into every room.

A proud member of the Woburn Kiwanis Club, Ron served as President twice during his tenure. His leadership reflected his deep commitment to community service and civic engagement. He was also an avid golfer who cherished time spent on the course.

Ron is survived by his three sons—Matthew of Wilmington, Michael of Lowell, and Anthony of Nantucket—and their families. He is also remembered with gratitude by Alison Mondi, the mother of his children, for her care and support during his illness. Ron leaves behind four brothers: Anthony of Falmouth, Steve of New Orleans, Dominic of Peabody, and David of Danvers.

He was predeceased by his parents, Marie and Dominic Mondi.

A celebration of Ron’s life will be held on June 14, 2026 from 3 PM to 6 PM at the American Legion located at 194 Lexington Street in Woburn, MA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron’s memory to the Woburn Kiwanis Club.

Ron’s legacy lives on through the lives he touched—with laughter shared, wisdom imparted, and kindness extended. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
