Ron Zumberge

Ron Zumberge, 71, passed away on March 24, 2026, in Arlington, Texas. Born on February 5, 1955, Ron lived a full and vibrant life marked by his dedication to family, work, and his many passions.

A skilled salesman by trade, Ron was known for his ability to connect with people. His warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on those who crossed his path. Outside of work, he found joy in woodworking, going to NASCAR races, hunting, and supporting the Texas Rangers baseball team.

Ron is survived by his former wife, Melissa; their daughter Paige (Erika) Vigil-Zumberge; stepdaughters Alexis Munoz Cardona and Brittany Duff; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his siblings: Mary Wilker of St. Mary's, Ohio; Rita and Tom McEldowney of Greenville, Ohio; Marlene and Howard Bruggeman of Maria Stein, Ohio; Tom and Trygvie Zumberge of Curtice, Ohio; Karen Zumberge of Coldwater, Ohio; and Sharon and Jerry Siegrist of Chickasaw, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by Dorothy Zumberge, James Zumberge, Rita Zumberge, and Charles Wilker.

A memorial service will be held in Arlington, Texas in late April and in Chickasaw, Ohio on May 17th. Further details will be shared at a later date.

Ron's memory will live on through the love he shared with his family and friends. May those who knew him find comfort in remembering his kind spirit and the joy he brought to their lives.
