Ron was born in Saratoga Springs, NY, the youngest son of the late Fred A Bollinger and Helen Toolan Bollinger. He graduated from St. Peter’s Academy in 1966.
He was employed as a manufacturing blacksmith at Pfaudler Manufacturing for over 30 years.
Ron lived in upstate NY (Rochester, Newark) his entire life, moving to FL in 2024 to be near his niece Linda Jennings and to enjoy warmer weather after a lifetime of freezing winter weather.
Ron is predeceased by his parents, and four brothers: James F. Bollinger and his wife Shirley, John M. Bollinger and his wife Bettie, Russell Bollinger and his wife Sarah, and Paul T. Bollinger and his wife Carol. Paul was Ron’s twin brother. He is also predeceased by his wife Elaine. Ron is survived by one son, Scott Bollinger.
Ron will be remembered as a quiet man who enjoyed photography, collecting stamps and fishing.
