Ronald Harold Bradford

Ronald Harold Bradford, 77, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, in La Habra, CA. Born on September 14, 1948, Ronald dedicated 21 years of his life to the Navy, serving from August 1968 until his honorable discharge in September 1989. Following his military career, he continued to serve his community through his work at the Christian Life Center in Fullerton, CA, and in the security sector, each for nearly three decades.
Ronald embraced a life marked by faith, service, and a passion for his hobbies. He was an active member of the Christian Life Center, where he contributed significantly to the church community. His interests included being an amateur radio operator, engaging in square dancing with the Boy's N Berries Square Dance Club, and participating in the American Legion Post 267 of La Habra, CA.
He is survived by his brother, Don (Trinidad) Bradford of Norco, CA; his children, son Brian (Carrie) Ankenman of Chardon, OH; Erin (Edwin) Cordie of Harrison, OH; Allison (Matthew) Mize of Tuba City, AZ; and Carrie Ankenman (Robert Hall) of Aurora, IN. Grandfather to Elizabeth, Emma, Kaitlyn, Evelynn, Madison, Kimberly, Owen, Elyse, and Aubrie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Mary Bradford, and his brother, Norman Bradford Jr.
A memorial service will be held on February 6th at 10:00 am at the Christian Life Center of Fullerton, CA with a private burial at sea to follow. Ronald will be remembered as an easygoing man who was always ready with a weather update, deeply loved his family, and was dedicated to his naval and church service. His legacy of kindness and dedication will continue to inspire those who knew him.
