Ronald William Cunha, age 82, passed away peacefully at home on December 15, 2025, surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer. Ron was born October 19, 1943, and was a lifelong resident of Arlington, MA. He attended Saint Agnes School and Arlington High School after which he proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and was honorably discharged in July of 1969. He attended Northeastern University and eventually found his way into the electrical trade as a member of IBEW Local 103 for 54 years. He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks but enjoyed the company of his many friends at the American Legion Post 39 most of all.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Esther Cunha (Corbett), son Keith and his wife Kristen of Billerica, daughter Kimberley Collins and her husband Robert of West Roxbury. Ron leaves behind his 4 grandchildren Alyssa Gill and her husband Ryan, Kailey Cunha and her significant other Aidan Rexford, Courtney Collins, Michael Collins and his beloved great-granddaughter Emma Gill.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut Street, ARLINGTON, on Friday, December 19th from 4:00-7:00PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford Street, Arlington, on Saturday, December 20th at 9:00am. His Burial will be Private.
