Ronald Lee Finney

1967 - 2026

Ronald Lee Finney, 58, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on April 7, 2026. He was born on October 29, 1967, in Bakersfield, California.

Ronald will be remembered as a funny, compassionate man who brought warmth and laughter to those around him. He had a deep love for adventure and lived life with a generous spirit, always willing to help anyone in need. Fiercely protective of those he loved, Ronald devoted his life to his children and grandchildren, who meant everything to him. He also shared a special and enduring bond with his identical twin brother, a connection that remained close throughout his life.

In his early years, Ronald attended Pentecostal Holiness Church in Wichita, Kansas. He worked as a flooring and installation contractor from 1998 to 2007, and later with Glickman Co. from 2007 to 2011. He took pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way.

Ronald enjoyed weightlifting in his younger years and valued staying physically fit. He had a deep appreciation for music of all kinds, especially country. In his later years, his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren—taking them to the park, sharing laughter, and spoiling them with candy.

He is survived by his brother, Donald Dee Finney; his children, Ronald William Finney, Amber Nicole Finney, Travis Finney, Trina Finney, and Sarrina Finney; his nieces and nephews, Cherrish Don Finney, Autumn Renee Anderson, Justin Finney, Lydia JoAnn Finney, and Jaelynn Kittrell; his grandchildren, Mariaha Finney, Evanna Williamson, Jordan Finney, Mesiaha Finney, Kenzie Finney, Caleb Finney, Kaira Williamson, IsaBelle Williamson, Jay'Bear Williamson, and Nathan Wulf; and his great-nephews, Javaiahs Antwone Lee Hughes, Sawyer Wallace Wilson, Maddon James Leo Finney-Wilson, and Thane Finney.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marnie Marie Finney; his parents, Donald Lee Finney and Linda Lou Gamber; his brother, Stephen Dale Finney; his grandparents, Thomas Ivan Finney, Susie Mae Bruce, Clarence Leon Gamber, and Betty June Gamber; his paternal uncles, JB Finney, Lonnie Finney, Thomas Finney Jr., and Aaron Finney; and his paternal aunts, Rosetta Finney, Louise Finney, Sue Finney, and Nel Dean Miller.

No formal funeral services are planned at this time. A family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate Ronald's life.

Ronald's legacy of love, strength, and generosity will live on in the many lives he touched.
