Ronald Wurch

Ronald Wurch, 80, of Leesburg, Florida, formerly of Strongsville, Ohio, passed away on April 13, 2026.

Beloved husband of Nancy; devoted father of Christopher and Dennis; and proud grandfather of Heather.

Ron spent much of his life in Northeast Ohio before ultimately trading Ohio winters for life in Florida. Before retiring, he served as a detective for the City of Berea, a role that never really left him.

Ron was known for his stubborn streak and his often humorous grumpy moments. Those who knew and loved him understood there was much more beneath the surface. He had a quick wit, strong opinions, and rarely did things any way but his own. He enjoyed classic television shows, classic cars, and always had a soft spot for sweets.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron's memory to the American Brain Foundation or an animal rescue of your choice.
