Rose Mary Lowe Pope, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful servant of Jehovah, was born on March 6, 1949, and peacefully entered into rest on January 13, 2026.

A native of Augusta, Georgia, Rose Mary was a proud 1966 graduate of Lucy Craft Laney High School. She lived a life marked by dignity, humility, and deep spiritual conviction.

On June 23,1970 she married Larry Pope and remained married to him until his death on February 16, 2017, they settled in Augusta, Ga to raise their family. After learning Bible truths, she dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, where she made it her priority to teach others about God's Kingdom and the promises found in the Scriptures.

Following her retirement from Georgia Regional Hospital, Rose Mary entered full-time ministry as a Pioneer, faithfully serving for the last 14 years of her life. Her kindness, patience, and genuine love for people touched countless lives during her ministry.

Rose Mary was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Larry Pope Sr., loving parents, Ralph and Sarah Lowe, her brothers, Ralph Lowe Jr. and Henry Leo Greer and beloved sister-in-law, Sarah Greer.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children and stepchildren: Carl Pope, Michael Pope (April), Lisa Pope, and Tiffany Shufford (Michael) Larry Pope Sr, Robin Pope, and Regina Pope. She is also survived by her devoted sister, Paulette Grochow.

Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, whom she loved deeply: Bria Rouse, Daisha Pope, Allen Reynolds, Karl Pope, Jasmine Pope, Justin Pope, Devin Pope, Jocelyn Pope, Jillian Pope and Giovannti Middlebrook and a Precious Great Granddaughter, Naomi Smith. Also, a bonus grandson, Brooklyn.

Rose Mary lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service. Though she will be profoundly missed, her gentle spirit, warm smile, and unwavering trust in Jehovah will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
